As General Manager of The Fig Tree Restaurant with over two decades in the hospitality industry, Sara Zanitsch oversees all operations of the restaurant including service and wine education.
Sara is always aspiring for the highest service standards and is committed to creating exceptional experiences for her guests. Her sense of graciousness along with her sense of leadership can be felt everywhere in the restaurant; from the clean parking lot when you enter to the smiling hostess at the front door when you leave. Sara is passionate about wine and holds an advanced wine certiﬁcation from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust which helps her oversee the restaurant’s award winning wine list.
Since opening the restaurant in 2005 Sara and her staff have received many accolades in customer service including the OpenTable Diner’s Choice Award for Best Service two years in a row.
“Food can be trendy, but there are no trends in customer service,” she says. “Anyone can walk into a restaurant and feel whether or not the owners love what they do,” Sara says. “Greg and I love what we do and we want guests to feel that, enjoy themselves and leave knowing how much we appreciate them.”
